As my husband travels a lot, having the peace of mind that I’m in a 100% secure house was extremely important to me and my children. We achieved this using a combination of external beams combined with all-round security shutters and Fort Engineered Security doors. Our front door was custom-made to fit an existing opening as well as to fit in with the classic-contemporary aesthetic of our house style. The primed door was then painted to our own spec by our contractor. Having a secure front door also enabled us to get rid of our previously unsightly security gate that was in front of our door. Our second security door is at the top of our stairs, creating a ‘safe zone’ for us upstairs in our bedrooms. Both doors have been a fantastic investment for our property.

I was initially apprehensive during my purchase, purely because of the cost. I knew I was buying a quality product, so I eventually yielded. Also, I live on the coast, so I wanted a durable product which could stand up to the elements. My purchase was the 1230mm secure front door with wooden imbuia finish. During the initial onsite visit, Tertius gave a thorough overview of the product as well as what options were available to me. Post paying the deposit, there was a relatively long wait before the door was eventually delivered, but this to be expected as these products are produced abroad.
It was therefore an exciting day when the door arrived, securely sealed in its original packaging. The door was beautifully installed and there was no problem integrating it into my existing biometric fingerprint scanner. In my case installation was done over 2 days. I will recommend fort security doors to the people and the product.
